There are two teams that fall under H.O.P.E. Ministry:

• The Resource Team led by Gin Johnson
• Migrant Farm Worker Ministry team led by Ed & Terri Gonzalez

Our two teams, The Resource Center and the Migrant Farm Workers, work together to provide hope for the needy and those in crisis. The congregation came through again with donations of clothing, bedding, fabric and household goods. We are especially pleased that former sewing students of Betty Granlund’s have organized to become self-sufficient and are determined to give back, by helping those in need in the community. They have learned to quilt, make cloth diapers and have almost taken the burden of making Christmas stocking away from us. This year, beside making 105 hygiene kits, we were asked to help several seriously ill people with dietary problems who could no long eat solid food.

Immanuel’s H.O.P.E. Ministry Team made their annual Christmas delivery to the farm worker camps outside of Woodburn on December 16th, 2006. Food boxes and warm clothing, along with Christmas stockings filled with goodies, gift cards, and other essentials were delivered.
