What's Happening !!!

Children & Family "Sunday Bible Adventure"

Starts in Fall of 2008

Kid's Discovery for children ages Preschool - 5th grade which will meet in the upstairs Children's Ministry Room. This will include songs, games, learning Bible verses, refreshments and building friendships.

Men's Exploration for Dads and men will meet in the upstairs Conference Room. This will allow men to explore and gain spiritual confidence.

Women's Voyage for moms and women to have time to grow together in friendship and faith. Women's Voyage and Men's Exploration will take turns in leading the Kid's Discovery. Plan now to attend.

Middle School Youth Group will meet downstairs in the Youth Room. Fall "Kick-off event to be announced. For more information, please contact the church office at 503-981-1036 or church@lutheranwoodburn.org.

Sunday Bible Adventure is a weekly ministry for children and families that is offered on Sunday mornings from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. During this time children and adults are involved through interactive Bible stories, creative hands-on learning, a breakfast snack, and upbeat music. Parents and other adult mentors are encouraged to attend with their children so that faith learning and sharing can become a natural part of the family.

Our Youth Ministry is designed for kids in grades 6th thru 9th and is a weekly ministry that meets in the downstairs youth room every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This group plans many activities such as retreats & service projects. The group also spends time sharing and learning God's word and how His word applies to their daily life. Parents and other adults are always encourage to attend and help out with the activities.
